Working in Delray

Meetings where every voice matters.

Delray Beach has been a client for years, from city workshops to town halls to community celebrations.

Workshops and discussions are some of the hardest events to get right: a dozen or more people talking around a table, presentations on screen, and an audience at home that needs to hear every word.

We plan microphones for every seat, put screens where everyone can see them, and stream the whole thing with captions and an on-demand replay, so the record is complete.

2024 Delray Beach Lecture Series

13+ monthly sessions · 2023–2024
The Field House at Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave. (at Atlantic Ave.), Delray Beach

Across 2023 and 2024, we produced more than a dozen monthly sessions of the Delray Beach Lecture Series for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Florida Atlantic University, hosted by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority at Old School Square. FAU faculty and guest experts presented on South Florida history and culture, from Delray Beach’s desegregation story and its agricultural roots to Henry Flagler’s railroad, Morikami Gardens, and the Florida Highwaymen painters.

Each session, we set up the sound, screens, and presentation laptops in the Field House so speakers could present with photos and archival images and every seat could hear and see clearly.

What we provided
  • Full P.A. system
  • Oversized display screens for presentation visuals
  • Presentation laptops
  • Monthly setup, operation, and teardown

What we work out before the day.

Meetings and workshops have their own needs. These are the questions we answer with you up front.

  1. 01

    Who needs a microphone

We count every speaking seat, plus the facilitator and audience questions, so nobody has to pass a microphone around.

  2. 02

    Room layout and screens

U-shaped tables, classroom rows, and banquet rounds each need screens in different places. We plan the layout with you and the venue.

  3. 03

    Captions and the record

For public meetings, we plan closed captioning, the livestream destination, and the on-demand replay ahead of time.

  4. 04

    Long days

For all-day sessions, we arrive early, test everything before people arrive, and keep a technician at the controls until the end.
